Tbilisi is preparing to host the Global Investors Forum (GIF 2025), a leading economic platform designed to strengthen GCC–Eurasia cooperation through a unified investment ecosystem. Organised in partnership with the Eurasia Gulf Organization, the Georgian Chamber of Commerce for Investment, and AGI Holding Group—with support from the ICC, the Embassy of Georgia in the UAE, and the Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce – Middle East—the forum connects global capital with high-growth opportunities under a shared framework for sustainable development.

Held on 4–5 December 2025, the forum will gather more than 1,500 participants, 70 institutional investors, and 50 international speakers from over 40 countries for two days of panels, investment presentations, and matchmaking sessions focused on sustainability and technology, tourism, digital currencies and securitisation, real estate and infrastructure, and agri-tech and food security.

GIF 2025 is positioned to be a major economic milestone for Georgia and the wider region. Significant cross-border MoUs and strategic partnerships are expected to be signed between government and private investment institutions from the GCC and beyond, enabling new financing channels in clean energy, sustainable technologies, medical tourism, smart infrastructure, and digital agriculture.

Among the distinguished attendees are H.E. Dr Abdulla Belhaif Al Nuaimi, H.E. Humaid Mohammed Bin Salem, H.E. Aisha Mohammed Saeed Al Mulla and a delegation from the UAE Businesswomen Council, Dr Tayseer Al Khunaizi, Dr Saad Al-Din Mneimneh, and Arif bin Ali Alabbar. Global leaders including Arif Anis (MBE), ICC Secretary General John W.H. Denton, Shammas Awad, and IDB Board Member Hani Idris will also participate.

Under the theme “Bridges between Continents – From the GCC to Eurasia: Investing in the Future of Global Prosperity,” the forum will convene ministers, sovereign wealth funds, multinational corporations, and senior investors to address global financial volatility, ESG integration, digital currency transitions across 130 countries, and the surge of AI, which now absorbs 37 percent of global venture capital.

Speakers emphasise the rising urgency of sustainability-aligned investments and long-term economic resilience. Dr Saad El-Din Mneimana describes GIF as a strategic platform reshaping global cooperation by linking East and West through a unified investment ecosystem, while Arif Anis highlights the event’s role in confronting a turbulent investment climate marked by slowing FDI and declining project financing. ICC Secretary General John Denton underscores the private sector’s growing responsibility in sustaining global prosperity.

Georgia’s hosting of the forum reflects its strategic role as an economic bridge between the Middle East, Europe, and Central Asia. UAE–Georgia relations continue to expand rapidly, driven by more than USD 6 billion in development and infrastructure agreements. The UAE accounts for 63 percent of Georgia’s trade with Arab countries and contributes around 5 percent of total foreign direct investment, ranking among Georgia’s top six global investors.

GIF 2025 is expected to yield hundreds of millions of dollars in new agreements, advancing green projects, digital infrastructure, and next-generation investment channels. The outcomes will reinforce the UAE’s position as a central hub linking Gulf, European, and Asian markets and strengthen its influence within the evolving global economic landscape.
